The Filter feature helps you quickly find the recordings you want to watch. You can filter by device (free), video tags (paid), Activity Zone (paid), or free status tags such as Unread and Mark.
With the Vico Nature Awareness service, you’ll unlock paid options like AI tags (Bird, Person, Pet, Vehicle, Package) and activity zone filtering for more precise results.
What You Can Filter
- By Device (Free) – View recordings from a specific camera in your device list.
- By Activity Zone (Paid) – View recordings captured only within a selected activity zone of the camera.
- By Video Tag (Paid) – Filter by AI-detected categories such as Bird, Person, Pet, Vehicle, or Package.

By Other Status Tags (Free) –
- Unread – Recordings you have not yet viewed.
- Mark – Recordings you have manually marked with a star.
How to Apply Filters
- Go to the Library screen in the app.
- Tap the Filter icon in the upper right corner.
- Select one or more filter options:
- Choose a Device (Free) or an Activity Zone (Paid).
- Choose one or more Video Tags (Paid).
- Select Unread or Mark under Others (Free).
- After confirming your choices, tap Save to apply the filter.
- To clear your current selections and start over, tap Reset.
Notes
- Filtering by Activity Zone or Video Tag requires an active Vico Nature Awareness subscription.
- Filtering by Device, Unread, or Mark is free and does not require a subscription.
- The feature works only with Cloud Recordings. SD card recordings are not supported.
- All videos are encrypted before analysis to ensure your privacy and security.
