Vico Nature Awareness is an optional subscription service designed to enhance your birdwatching experience.
It combines AI-powered bird identification, smart notifications, video visit history, and other tools that help you discover, review, and learn more about the birds visiting your feeder.
What Features Are Included?
AI Bird Identification
When the camera detects a bird, it captures the visit and uses AI technology to identify the bird species.
The identification result can be sent to your phone as a smart notification and viewed in the Vico Nature App. The built-in bird guide can identify more than 10,000 species and provide the bird’s name and related information.
Recognition results may vary depending on the bird’s distance, angle, lighting, movement, and image quality.
Activity Zones
Activity Zones allow you to select the areas where you want to receive notifications.
For example, you can create a zone around your bird feeder to focus on bird activity and reduce notifications caused by movement in other areas.
Movements outside the selected Activity Zone may still be recorded, but notifications are sent based on activity detected within the selected zone.
Longer Event Recordings
Subscribers can select a longer recording duration for motion-triggered events.
Depending on the camera, the available recording durations may include:
- Up to 1 minute
- Up to 2 minutes
- Up to 3 minutes
Longer recordings provide a more complete view of each bird visit or activity event.
Reduced Cloud Cooldown Time
Cloud Cooldown Time determines how long the camera waits before recording another cloud event.
With Vico Nature Awareness, you can reduce or disable Cloud Cooldown Time on supported cameras. This allows the camera to record events more frequently during periods of continuous activity.
Available cooldown settings may vary depending on the camera.
Which Subscription Plans Are Available?
Vico Nature Awareness offers an "Individual Plan" and a "Family Plan".
Both plans support unlimited cameras, so adding more cameras does not require an additional subscription or a plan upgrade.
Individual Plan
The Individual Plan provides the subscriber with access to the included Vico Nature Awareness features across supported cameras added to the account.
Family Plan
The Family Plan allows family members to share Vico Nature Awareness benefits without purchasing separate subscriptions.
The Family Plan also supports unlimited cameras.

Subscription prices and billing options may vary depending on your country, currency, taxes, and purchase platform.
To view the latest available plans and prices:
- Open the Vico Nature App.
- Tap "Account".
- Select Vico Nature Awareness.
- Review the available plans and billing options.
- Select a plan and tap "Subscribe Now".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the purchase.
The plans and prices displayed in the Vico Nature App are the most current options available for your account and region.
