With an active Awareness Subscription, you can explore detailed information about the birds visiting your feeder. When a new bird is detected, Bird AI automatically identifies the species, and you can open the integrated Wiki to learn more.

If you haven’t subscribed, you’ll see a prompt in the app to start your plan.
How It Works
When your feeder records a bird, Bird AI analyzes the image and suggests possible matches. Each result shows the confidence percentage for accuracy.
View Bird Species Wiki
You can access species details from two paths in the app. Both lead you to the same playback screen where you can explore information and open the wiki page.
Path 1: From the Library
- Open Library.
- Tap any video that shows a bird tag.
- The playback screen opens.
Path 2: From the Birds Tab
- Open Birds.
- Tap a bird to filter and view only recordings of that species.
- In the filtered list, tap any video to open the playback screen.
After you enter the playback screen (from either path), follow these steps:
- Tap the bird's name or icon below the video.
- In Possible Species, find the bird you’d like to confirm.
- Tap the arrow (>) next to the name to open an in-app overview.
- At the bottom of the page, tap View more information to open an external wiki site.
If No Matches Are Correct
If none of the options fit, tap Mark as misrecognized. Your feedback helps improve future recognition.
