If you're repeatedly seeing firmware update prompts in the app, here's what's actually happening and how to fix it.
Why Does This Happen?
- New firmware available: Your camera has detected a newer firmware version. Until you take action, the app will continue to remind you.
- This is expected behavior: Notifications will appear each time you open the app or enter camera settings, unless you choose to update or ignore the update.
How to Stop the Repeated Notifications
You have two options:

Update the firmware
- Go to the Home page
- Tap Camera Setting
- Tap the ">" icon
- Tap Firmware Update and follow the on-screen steps

Ignore the update (temporarily)
- When prompted, tap Ignore or Not Now on the firmware update pop-up
- This will temporarily dismiss the notification until the next check
Note: There is no way to permanently hide firmware update prompts unless the firmware is updated.
