To ensure safe and efficient charging, it's important to use a charger and cable that meet the recommended specifications for your Vico Nature camera.
Recommended Power Adapter
We recommend using a USB power adapter with an output of 5V ⎓ 1.5A.
This specification is carefully chosen to match the camera’s charging requirements.
- Using a charger with lower current (e.g., below 1.5A) may lead to slow or incomplete charging.
- Using a charger with higher voltage or current than recommended may shorten battery lifespan or cause damage to internal components.
For the best performance, avoid fast chargers and always choose a certified adapter from a reputable manufacturer.
Charging Cable Guidelines
Use the charging cable that came with your Vico Nature camera, or a high-quality replacement that meets equivalent standards.
When connecting:
- Ensure the cable is securely inserted into the charging port.
- Make sure the cable and port are clean and dry.
Damaged or incompatible cables may interfere with charging or prevent it entirely.
Charging Indicator
- While charging, the status light will show a solid amber / orange / yellow.
- Once fully charged, it will change to solid green.
Charging from a completely drained battery can take up to 10 hours, depending on model and environment. This is expected behavior.
Additional Tips
- Do not use high-voltage fast chargers (e.g., 9V or 12V).
- Avoid using laptop charging ports or low-output adapters.
- For best results, charge in a dry, room-temperature environment.
- The camera can remain in use while charging, though this may slightly extend charging time.
