Verification codes help protect your Vico Nature account by confirming your identity during sign-up, password resets, and security verification. For your security, these codes are valid for a limited time only. Here's what to do if your code expires or if you're not receiving one.
When Will I Receive a Verification Code?
You’ll receive a verification code in the following scenarios:
-
Creating a Vico Nature Account
To confirm your registration. Code expires in 15 minutes. -
Resetting Your Password
To verify identity before allowing a password change. Code expires in 15 minutes. -
Security Verification
To ensure your account remains secure. Code expires in 5 minutes.
What Happens If My Code Expires?
If you’re unable to enter the code before it expires, don’t worry—you can easily request a new one.
To Request a New Verification Code:
- Return to the sign-in, registration, or password reset screen.
- Re-enter your email address.
- Tap Resend.
- Open your email inbox and use the new code promptly.
Note: For security, previously issued codes will no longer be valid once a new one is generated.
How to Avoid Expired Codes
To ensure your verification code remains valid and usable:
- Act promptly: Enter the code within the specified time window (5 or 15 minutes, depending on the use case).
- Have your email app ready before requesting the code.
- Open your inbox immediately after requesting the code.
Not Receiving the Verification Code?
If the code doesn't arrive within a minute or two, try the following:
- Check your spam or junk folder for messages titled:
- “Sign up for a Vico Nature account”
- “Reset your Vico Nature password”
- “Your one-time security code from Vico Nature”
- Add support@Vico Nature.io to your email contact list to prevent future delivery issues.
- Verify that your email address was entered correctly.
- Check email filters or rules that may be blocking the message.
- Switch your network (e.g., from Wi-Fi to mobile data).
- Clear browser cache and cookies, if you're using a web browser.
- Try a different email address by using Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo, if the issue persists.
Why Do Verification Codes Expire?
Vico Nature verification codes expire quickly—usually within 5 or 15 minutes—to keep your account secure. Short expiration windows help prevent unauthorized use of expired codes. If you're consistently missing the time window, consider preparing your inbox in advance before initiating the process.
