Can I change the email address linked to my Vico Nature account?
At this time, Vico Nature does not support updating the email address associated with your account. The email address functions as a unique account identifier and cannot be modified through the app.
How can I use a different email address for my account?
To use a new email address, you will need to:
- Remove all devices currently linked to your existing Vico Nature account
- Permanently delete your current account
- Create a new account using your preferred email address
- Manually re-add all of your devices to the new account
Important: Deleting your account is permanent
Before proceeding, please review the following consequences carefully. Once deleted, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered.
Data loss
- All device settings and cloud recordings will be permanently deleted
- Video history and saved clips will be erased
- Deleted accounts cannot be restored
Device access
- You will lose access to all devices, including shared access
- Devices must be physically present to be added to the new account
Subscription
- Account deletion does not cancel your Vico Nature Awareness subscription
- To avoid continued charges, cancel your subscription manually before deleting your account
- Subscriptions cannot be transferred to a new account
App access
- You will be immediately logged out of the app
- You will no longer be able to access any data or devices under the deleted account
How do I delete my Vico Nature account?
To delete your account:
- Open the Vico Nature app
- Tap the User icon
- Tap your account (your email address) at the top of the screen
- Tap Delete Account
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm
