How to Change Video Resolution Settings
You can adjust the video resolution of your camera directly in the app to match your preferred balance of image quality and network performance.
To change the resolution:
- Open the app and go to the Home page
- Tap your camera's Settings icon
- Select Video Settings
- Tap Recording Resolution and choose from the available options
Common resolution options include:
- SD (Standard Definition) – Basic video quality with lower clarity. Best for users who want to save storage space or review general movement.
- HD (High Definition) – Clearer and more detailed than SD. A good balance between image sharpness and file size.
- 2K – Highest available resolution for most models. Provides sharp, detailed footage but uses more storage space per recording.
Note:
- Available options may vary by camera model.
- The resolution you choose will affect both the quality of recorded videos and how much space they take up.
