Option 1: Update from the live view page
When a new firmware version is released, a prompt will automatically appear on the live view page. Tap "Update" to begin the firmware upgrade, as shown below:
Option 2: Manually check for updates
- Tap the camera Settings icon.
- Tap the “>” extension icon.
- Select "Firmware Update" to start the upgrade.
Important Notes

Ensure sufficient battery before updating
For battery-powered devices, make sure the battery level is above 20% before starting the firmware update. -
Do not power off the device during the update
Avoid any actions that may interrupt power, including but not limited to:- Unplugging the charger
- Long-pressing the power button
- Pressing or poking the reset (P) button

Do not leave the update page
Avoid closing the app or switching to other screens during the update. -
Ensure a stable network connection
Both your camera and phone should have a strong, stable internet connection during the process. -
If you see “Firmware is already up to date”
Your camera is already running the latest version.
