The MagicPix feature helps enhance image brightness in dark or low-light environments, giving you a clearer and more detailed view. Please note that MagicPix is only available on select camera and device models. If your camera doesn’t support this feature, the MagicPix option will not appear in the app.
You can turn MagicPix on or off at any time while watching a live stream or reviewing recorded videos.
Turn MagicPix on or off during live view
- Open your camera’s Live View.
- On the screen, locate the MagicPix icon — it’s available in both portrait and landscape modes.
- Tap the icon once to enable MagicPix. The button will highlight when the feature is active.
- Tap again to disable MagicPix. The button will return to its normal or off state.
When MagicPix is enabled, your camera automatically analyzes the live image and applies brightness enhancement only when it’s needed. If the current frame is already bright enough, the button will remain in its normal state.
Turn MagicPix on or off while watching a recorded video
- Go to the Library in your app.
- Select a video clip to open it in playback mode.
- If the MagicPix icon appears at the top-left corner of the video player, you can tap it to turn the feature on or off, just like in Live View.
- When enabled, MagicPix automatically analyzes each frame and enhances brightness only when needed—without overexposing the image.
Note: Not all recordings include the MagicPix option.
