Sleep mode helps conserve your camera’s battery by pausing live view, motion detection, notifications, and recording. You can enable sleep mode manually or set a schedule to automate it.
Enable Sleep Mode Manually
- Go to Camera Settings > Motion Detection.
- Turn on Sleep.
- The camera will enter sleep mode immediately.
To wake the camera, tap Wake Up on the live view screen.
Set a Sleep Schedule
- Go to Camera Settings > Motion Detection > Schedule Sleep.
- Tap Schedule Setting.
- Tap Add a Sleep Plan.
- Choose the Sleep Period and Activation Date, then tap Save.
- White area = active hours
- Colored area = sleep hours
Edit or Delete a Sleep Schedule
- Edit: Open Schedule Setting, tap Add a Sleep Plan, and set a new time.
- Delete: In Schedule Setting, tap the colored area of the plan, then tap Delete.
Wake the Camera
- To wake your camera anytime, tap Wake Up on the live view screen.
- If you wake the camera manually, it will not return to the sleep schedule until the next cycle begins.
Notes
- While in sleep mode, the camera will not provide live view, motion detection, push notifications, recordings, or alarms.
- If the camera does not enter or exit sleep mode as expected, please check your settings first.
