Where is the power button located on my camera?
The power button location varies by camera model:
- Most Models: The power button is typically located under a rubber cap on the body of the camera. Look for a small rubber cover that can be lifted to reveal the button underneath.
- Bird Feeder Cameras: The power button on bird feeder camera models is typically located beneath the rubber flap on the camera body, and may require rotating the camera head vertically to locate.
- Plug-in Cameras: Plug-in camera models do not have a dedicated power button at all. These cameras automatically power on when plugged into a power source and shut down when the power supply is disconnected.
Where can I find the reset button/reset hole on my camera?
The reset function on your camera may be labeled as "Reset Button", "P Button", "P Hole", or "Reboot Hole", depending on the model. Some models have a physical P button you can press directly, while others use a small reset hole that requires a pin or similar tool to activate.
Common Locations:
- On the top/bottom of the camera body, under a rubber cap
How to Use:
- Press and hold the reset hole for 3 seconds using a pin or small tool.
- After releasing, the camera will emit a "ding-dong, ding-dong" sound and the blue indicator light will start flashing, indicating that the reset was successful and the device is ready for pairing.
Note: Always ensure the camera is connected to power or with enough battery.
