Can I Control My Camera from Two Phones Using the Same Account?
No, you cannot use the same account to log in on two phones simultaneously. For privacy protection and account security, one account can only be logged in on one phone at a time. If the same account is logged in on a second device, it will automatically force logout on the first device.
However, you can share your camera with another person so both phones can access the same device. Here's how it works:
Camera Sharing Solution:
- Admin Account: Only one account can be the administrator with full management control
- Shared Access: Other accounts can access the camera through device sharing with limited permissions
- Sharing Process: Use the QR code sharing feature in the app (Device Settings Share Generate QR code)
What Shared Users Can Do:
- Watch live video
- View recorded videos in the Library, both cloud and SD card
- Receive motion detection notifications
What Shared Users Cannot Do:
- Manage camera settings (motion detection, audio settings, light settings)
- Delete recordings
- Have full administrative control
Note: The system is designed so each camera can only have one admin account. While shared users will receive more permissions in future updates, currently there cannot be two primary users with equal management rights.
