You can update your username in the VicoHome app at any time by following these steps. Your username is visible when sharing devices and may help your friends or family recognize your account more easily.
Before You Begin
Make sure you’re using the latest version of the VicoHome app on your iOS or Android device.
Steps to Change Your Username
- Launch the VicoHome app on your mobile device.
- Tap the User tab at the bottom of the screen.
- At the top of the screen, tap the arrow “>” next to your name and email address to open Account Settings.
- Select Username from the list of available options.
- Enter your preferred new username.
- Tap Save to confirm your changes.
- After the update is saved successfully, you’ll return to the Account Settings page and see a message that says:
“Username successfully updated.”
What Happens Next
- Your new username will appear across the app and will be visible to other users when you share devices with them.
- Changing your username does not affect your login credentials, device ownership, or any existing camera configurations.
