Managing multiple cameras in the app is simple, but there are a few things to note regarding how devices are displayed and organized.
How Are Devices Ordered in the App?
The app automatically displays cameras based on the order they were added, with the newest cameras shown at the top and older ones listed below.
- You cannot manually reorder the list
- There is no drag-and-drop or sorting option available at this time
Can I Change the Display Order?
While the app doesn't support custom sorting, there is a workaround:
- Remove all cameras from your account
- Re-add them one by one in the reverse order you want them to appear
- The last camera added will appear at the top
This can help reset the list to your preferred order, though it may require reconfiguring each device.
Note: If you remove and re-add a camera under the same account, the system will retain the camera's original settings.
Other Tips for Managing Devices
- Rename each device with clear names (e.g., "Front Door," "Garage," "Living Room")
- Use filter options if available, especially when managing many cameras
