VicoHome cameras do not support battery removal or replacement.
This design helps protect the device’s safety features, ensures waterproof integrity, and provides stable long-term performance.
How to Charge the Camera
To charge the camera, please use the included charging cable with a 5V/1.5A charger.
Steps to charge:
- Plug the cable into the camera’s charging port.
- Connect the cable to a 5V/1.5A charger.
- Plug the charger into a power outlet.
The solar panel serves as a supplementary power source. For optimal performance, please fully charge the device using the charger first. The solar panel is designed to help maintain battery levels, but not to replace regular charging.
Charging Status and Time
- Amber/ Orange / Yellow light: Charging
- Green light: Fully charged
Charging typically takes 10 hours, depending on the model and power source.
If the Battery No Longer Holds a Charge
If the camera fails to charge or doesn’t hold a charge as expected, please try the following steps:
- Use a different charging cable and adapter (must be 5V/1.5A)
- Clean the charging port on the camera to ensure there’s no dust or debris
- Charge the camera indoors under normal room temperature (avoid extreme cold or heat)
- Charge the camera continuously for at least 10 hours, even if the indicator light doesn’t appear immediately
- While keeping the charger connected, press the P hole (or the P button, depending on your model) to restart the device and check whether it can resume charging properly.
