To ensure optimal performance and compatibility, your microSD card must meet the following specifications:
Capacity Requirements
- Maximum capacity: 128GB
- Minimum capacity: 8GB
- Cards larger than 128GB (such as 256GB or higher) are not supported and may cause recording failures.
Format Requirements
- Must be formatted as FAT32.
- You can format the card directly in the app: Camera Settings - SD Card Management - Format SD Card.
- If formatting through the app fails, format it to FAT32 on a computer first, then format again through the app for optimal compatibility.
Brand Requirements
- Use only genuine, brand-name cards such as:
- SanDisk
- Samsung
- Kingston
- Avoid no-brand, counterfeit, or generic cards to prevent data loss and recording issues.
Performance Requirements
- Recommended: Class 10 or higher for smooth video recording.
- Standard speed cards may work, but Class 10 ensures better video quality and reliability.
Cards to Avoid
- Expansion cards (with artificially extended storage capacity)
- Read-only cards
- Counterfeit or fake cards
- No-brand cards
- Cards over 128GB capacity
Installation Tips
- Insert the card following the directional icon next to the card slot.
- Push gently until you hear a click, indicating proper installation.
How to Check Your SD Card Capacity
You can check your SD card's total and available storage at any time:
- Open the Camera Settings page in the app.
- Locate SD Card Management — your current capacity and usage will be displayed next to it.
- Tap SD Card Management to view detailed information.
Important Notes
- The SD Card Management option only appears when a compatible SD card is inserted. If no card is inserted, it will not be displayed.
- If the card is not recognized or incompatible, the storage status may show as "Unavailable" or prompt you to format the card.
- Formatting SD Card will erase all content on the card, so be sure to back up any important recordings before proceeding.
