Keeping your recordings safe and accessible is important. The length of time your cloud videos remain available depends on your plan and storage usage. Here’s what you need to know about how long videos are stored, and what happens when you reach your storage limit.
How long are cloud videos stored with the Free Plan?
With the Free Plan, your cloud recordings are stored for up to 3 days, with a total storage limit of 0.5 GB.
This free cloud service is available for 2 years from the date you first register your account.
If your total storage remains under 0.5 GB, you can access all recordings from the past 3 days.
If the limit is exceeded, the oldest recordings are automatically deleted to make room for new ones, even if they were recorded within the 3-day period.
How long are cloud videos stored with an active subscription?
With an active subscription, your cloud recordings are stored for 30–60 days depending on your plan, with a total storage limit of 30 GB.
The retention period applies only to recordings made after the subscription is activated.
If the total storage exceeds 30 GB, older recordings are automatically removed, even if they have not yet reached the 30–60 day limit.
What happens when cloud storage is full?
Once your cloud storage reaches its maximum capacity, older videos are automatically deleted to free up space for new recordings. This process cannot be paused, stopped, or reversed.
Videos deleted from the cloud—whether automatically or manually—cannot be recovered.
To prevent the loss of important footage, we recommend:
- Downloading important videos to your mobile phone.
- Using an SD card for local backup storage.
