A Micro SD card stores a local backup of your cloud recordings. This article explains how to install, set up, and view recordings from a Micro SD card.
Requirements
- Supported brands: SanDisk, Samsung, Kingston
- Capacity: 8GB to 128GB, Class 10 or higher
- Format: FAT32
The camera may not support counterfeit, expanded-capacity, or read-only cards. Using unsupported cards could result in recording errors or data loss.
How to Install a Micro SD Card

Locate the Micro SD card slot
- Most cameras: Next to the power button, under a rubber plug.
- Some models: Next to the reset button.
- In rare cases, you may need to remove the outer shell to access it.

Insert the Micro SD card
Push the card in until it clicks into place. -
Confirm detection
- The camera announces: “SD card detected.”
- In the app, go to Camera Setting. You will see:
- SD Card Management: shows the available storage.
- SD Card Video: tap to view your backup recordings.

(Optional) Format the card
For best performance, format the card in the app before first use: Camera Setting → SD Card Management → Format.
Method 1: From the Library
- Open the app and go to Library.
- Tap SD Card in the upper-right corner.
- Select the camera you want to view.
- Tap Confirm.
Method 2: From Camera Setting
- Open Camera Setting.
- Tap SD Card Video, this opens the SD Card recordings list in Library.
Method 3: On a computer
- Remove the Micro SD card.
- Insert it into a card reader connected to your computer.
- Open the card’s folder to view the video files.
Troubleshooting
If your Micro SD card is not recognized:
- Remove and reinsert the card.
- Try another supported card.
- Format the card using the app or a computer.
- Make sure the card meets the requirements listed above.
