CentralHub stores recordings locally on a microSD card and supports capacities of up to 2 TB.
The amount of video history that can be retained depends on several factors, including:
- The microSD card capacity
- Video resolution settings
- Recording duration
- The number of motion-triggered recordings
- Recording cooldown settings
- The number of connected cameras
Because recording activity varies from one installation to another, there is no fixed retention period. Systems with larger storage cards, fewer recorded events, and longer cooldown intervals can retain video recordings for a longer period of time.
For the longest recording history, we recommend using a higher-capacity microSD card and optimizing recording settings based on your needs.
